Pastured
hen eggs are produced by the ~1000 or so
laying hens we maintain throughout the year. We move each eggmobile
once each week to new pasture areas. |
| Pasture-raised
chicken comes from the 2,800 broilers and
dual purpose breeds we produce each year. |
 |
 |
Pasture-raised
pork. We buy about 75 feeder pigs to raise
each year from local pig farmers. |
|
Pasture-raised
lamb comes from our own flock of 50 breeding
ewes (Katahdin and Katahdin x Dorper crosses).

 |
Pasture-raised
dairy beef. We buy about 20 Jersey steers
each year from Chapel Hill Creamery in Orange County. We raise them
on pasture for close to 2 years. |
|
Pesticide
Free Produce. While not certified organic
producers, we follow organic practices in growing our produce. We
focus on the spring and summer basics and pride ourselves on offering
unique and heirloom varieties of potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers.
