Laua Drew and I are attempting to organize a State Chapter of the Tourette Syndrome Association for North Carolina.We had our first meeting at the Chapel Hill Public Library on August 11, 2001 We are looking forward to having more meetings across the state as the year progresses. "The Grown-Up World of TS- Strategies for dealing with TS as an adult" (be it an adult w/TS or the adult parent of a child w/TS) THIS MEETING WILL DEAL WITH ADULT ISSUES, children are discouraged from attending. Viewing "The Tic Code", starring: Gregory Hines, Polly Draper. 91 minutes Rated R for language. A 10-year-old piano genius wants to become a jazz pianist, against his instructor's wishes to study classical. His interest, with the help of his mother (Draper) leads him to a jazz star (Hines), and the two form a fast bond, accellerated by their discovery that they both suffer from Tourette's Syndrome.
